A little bit about us

Hello! We are a family of four living in SE Berkeley. We have a 6 yr son and almost 4 yo daughter. Both parents work full time, and we lead a busy lifestyle. We are seeking help primarily after school hours and into early evening. The kids need to be picked up from school, driven to activities and brought home for bath and dinner. We are looking for someone who is willing to help with other duties like errands, laundry and simple tasks that can help make our lives easier.
Most importantly, our son is neurodivergent, and we are seeking someone with an extra level of patience and understanding; someone who is strong, assertive, able to maintain clear boundaries but also fully loving, accepting and nonjudgmental; someone he feels safe with and who has experience caring for kids like him. We will partner and support.

Looking for a nanny to help out during the work week when we go back to work full time in January 2024 (she will be 5 months old by then). Both parents work remotely from home most of the week, with one parent going in office 2-3 days a week. We additionally have a 9 year old so may have the occasional pick up from school / drop off to extracurriculars. Please note we have two dogs (no pet care required).
