A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny share for our 3 month old daughter starting in mid-Feb./March. Hours are flexible but probably around 8:30 to 5 pm. We are a laid back family that likes the outdoors and the arts. Husband works downtown three days a week and remote the other two. I will be working remotely at first when I go back. We are vaxed and wear masks.

Happy/prefer cohosting - we live in Alamo Square and have off street parking available too.

Need nanny open to working with reflux/elevated side lying bottle feeding and holding her upright after the feed (ie that is our special need at the moment).

She is smiley otherwise and loves watching people talk and hearing music.

Full-Time Household Nanny – San Francisco

Infant Care + Afternoon Split Care, Special Needs Experience Preferred

We’re looking for a long-term, professional nanny for our young family.

This role is primarily focused on infant care during the day, with midday school pickup and afternoon split care for our 4-year-old. Our 1.5-year-old will typically need daycare pickup around 5:00pm.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30am–5:30pm
Pay: $45/hr, W-2

Some occasional flexibility to extend hours is helpful. Bonus if open to occasional date-night babysitting.

Responsibilities include infant care, bottles, diapers, naps, feeding, developmental play, outings, school/daycare pickups, afternoon routines, light child-related meal prep, and resetting child spaces. The role also includes child-related tidying such as bottles, toys, kids’ laundry, restocking supplies, and keeping play/feeding areas organized.

For our 4-year-old, responsibilities include following parent-provided care routines, G-tube hydration with training, safe lifting/transfers, and occasional driving to physical therapy. He is non-mobile and growing, so comfort with physically active, hands-on care is important.

Most days follow a predictable rhythm, but we need someone flexible when kids are sick, school/daycare is closed, or schedules shift. Rarely, the nanny may need to help with different combinations of children at home.

We have a family car for nanny use. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain, non-smoker, and excellent references required.

We’re looking for someone warm, steady, proactive, and engaged, someone who helps create structure, calm routines, activities, and a cared-for environment for the kids.
