My wife and I both work from home for Bay Area-based companies and are looking for full-time childcare (M-F 8am-5pm) starting in Jan 2025 when we both go back to work at which point our baby boy will be just over 4 months.

We have two cats who are both very well behaved around strangers and babies. No pet care or housekeeping duties.

We'd like to limit screen time when children are awake. We're happy to host a nanny share but are also open to an individual arrangement.

A little bit about us

We're looking for another family to join our nanny share in Oakland, CA! We've been with our nanny, Heidy, for a little over a year and the other family in our share recently left to put their son in preschool. Our nanny is the absolute best person ever, super responsible, kind, careful, loving, and everything we could possibly hope for in a nanny. She currently takes care of our son, Hayden (2) at our house in Redwood Heights, and we're looking for another full-time kiddo to join. We pay Heidy $19 per kid for a two-kid nanny share, and my sister's son (also 2) also joins for a few hours a week, during which time we pay her $15 per kid for those three-kid hours. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions! Happy to hop on a call or meet in person if you'd like to meet us and/or our Heidy!

A little bit about us

Hello there! We are the Ferro Family - two families residing in the same building who are joyfully expecting our little ones soon. We're eagerly anticipating the arrival of two infant children to bring some extra sunshine into our home next year. We're excited, but we also understand the challenge of managing our work life while ensuring our kids are getting the best love and care possible. For this reason, we are seeking a friendly, professional, and caring nanny to assist us starting around May 2024.

We require the assistance of a nanny who can provide our little ones with the care and support they need. Our ideal candidate will be someone who loves infants, has plenty of patience, and can bring a sense of fun, warmth and positivity into our home. Experience and a natural comfort with infants would be highly valued in this role.

The nanny would be expected to be available from 9 am to 5 pm during weekdays, offering around 30 hours per week. We are looking for someone excited to be part of our child’s life - feeding, playing, encouraging development, and ensuring our little ones are safe and happy while we are at work.

The compensation for this role will be $22.00 per hour. We promise not just a job, but a welcoming inclusion into our family, treating you as one of us. We believe supporting our nanny’s well-being and happiness is key to providing a loving environment for our children. If this sounds like the kind of role you are looking for and you believe you can meet our requirements, we would be thrilled to hear from you. Do reach out to us with any questions you might have!

Looking forward to welcoming you to our family.
