Pay: $22-28/hr depending on experience
Start: ASAP (flexible)
Schedule: 3-5 afternoons/week, roughly 2:00-6:30 PM. Some flexibility on days and hours.
We’re looking for someone great with kids to help our family with a mix of childcare and household tasks on a recurring basis.
We have two kids — a 9-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son. Both parents are home — one works remotely, the other has a disability, which is a big part of why we need this help. We also have a dog and two cats.
Before the kids get home (at ~4-4:30), you’d focus on household tasks: getting dinner going, tidying up, doing dishes, wiping down the kitchen counters and stove, laundry, watering plants, ordering groceries via Instacart, and other light household stuff as it comes up. This is light, everyday upkeep — not deep cleaning.
Once the kids are home, the focus shifts to them: supervising homework and chores (especially our younger one, who needs more hands-on help), driving them to activities, and making sure dinner is ready around 6:30. In the summer, there’s more driving for camp pickups.
We’d love to find someone who can also pick up extra hours when one parent travels for work — that might mean an additional weekday or some weekend time, several times a year.
A bit about what we’re looking for: some experience with childcare and household work, comfort in the kitchen (nothing fancy — we have recipes and cookbooks, we just need someone able to follow them), and ideally your own car. We’re a liberal household that advocates for anti-racism, LGBTQIA+ rights, and disability rights — it’s essential that anyone helping raise our kids shares these values. We pay through a payroll service with proper tax withholding, set up so your take-home reflects your hourly rate.
We’re hoping to find someone who’d like to stick around for a while — ideally a couple of years. If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!

We value a nurturing caregiver who can engage him in creative, fun, and developmentally appropriate activities. Our ideal nanny would also be patient and understanding of the needs of a growing toddler. As we settle into our new home, we hope to find someone who can feel like an extension of our family and help make this transition a smooth and happy one for all of us!
We can be flexible for the right Nanny share. We want to start in early January. It can be 6-8 hours a day, 4-5 days a week in Northwest Crossing!

A little bit about us
Our boys are active, sports-loving kids who thrive outdoors, and we need someone who can match their energy and keep up with a flexible schedule. Some weeks that means shuttling them to and from summer camps and filling the in-between hours with quality time. Other weeks, when camps are out, it means planning engaging outdoor adventures and keeping the fun going while we're working.
The ideal fit:
-Loves being outside and is comfortable planning active, kid-friendly days
-Reliable, organized, and comfortable with a schedule that shifts week to week
-Has a clean driving record and is confident transporting kids
-Great with boys in the 6–10 age range — patient, playful, and knows how to have fun while keeping things on track
Bend is basically a playground, so creativity with activities is a huge plus. If this sounds like a great fit, send us a message and we'll set up a quick intro call. We'd love to meet you!

His brothers are 8, 7, and 6 and are in elementary school during the year and attend camp in the summer. We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves babies and enjoys age-appropriate developmental play, reading, exploring, and creating a fun, nurturing environment.
Occasional help with the older boys might include school pickup, after-school snacks, or helping with transitions through the busy parts of the day. We also really appreciate someone who enjoys being organized and is happy to be an extra set of hands when things get a little hectic.
We offer guaranteed hours, PTO, and sick days. I’m very easygoing and value open communication, reliability, and creating a positive space for you as well!
